  I like Russel Crowe. I will watch it if nothing else for the entertainment value. I like movies based on actual events.

  I’ve been to the Big Island twice when I was a 11 and 13. My sister lived there and flew me out. My in-laws live in Honolulu and we will be taking our first big family vacation. In May, we will fly out. We are going before my daughter turns 2 so she will fly free. My in-laws have room for us. I can’t wait to go. I will post pics when we’re there.

  My mother in law has posted pics on Facebook of her witnessing with their new stands. I hope to see some when I’m there. I will take pics if I see them and post em here.

  This will be my wife’s first time to Hawaii.

  we have had a letter read the last 2 meetings to all congs attenidng the detroit dc's... seems people are not going, or not booking their hotels.

  and the society is pissed!

  they are imploring every one to not wait for a new list with new hotels, it is not happening.

  i got a call the other day, it looks like the gb is telling everyone to contact all inactive ones, let them know they are missed, etc, and to do it within a week.

  For me, it seems to be the same pattern every year. For the last 3 years they always call on me when the CO is in town around December. No other time in the year. If I recall, they only are instructed to call “once” a year even though the CO visits more often than that.

  This same elder that calls on us sees me and my wife at least once or twice a year out in public. My wife works at a coffee shop that he visits sometimes but never bothers her. Just says hi and asks how things are. Same with me if I run into him out in public. We never give more than one or 2 word answers. No probing.

  It could be worse.

  and the last time they came, we had xmas lights up outside on the house. I'm surprised there hasn't been any follow up bec of that.
